In the afternoon of January 16 2024, Mr. Liu Junwen, Director General of the International Poverty Reduction Center in China (IPRCC) presided over a launch meeting of the seventh batch of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Project of Development of Teaching Materials for Foreign Aid Training (the first batch). Ms. Li Xin, Deputy Director General of IPRCC, Ms. Jie Ping, Deputy Director General of IPRCC, and Ms. Wang Chen, Programme Coordinator of United Nations Development Programme China attended the meeting.

The meeting was held online and offline. During the meeting, four project teams, including Beijing Normal University, the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research of Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Agricultural Economics and Development of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Kunming University of Science and Technology reported on their research progress. The leaders of IPRCC and the experts at the meeting made comments and suggestions on further improving the project implementation plan.

Relevant personnel of the Research Division, Training Division and International Exchanges Division attended the meeting.
