Director General Liu Junwen visited the UNDP in China

On the morning of March 28, 2024, Liu Junwen, Director General of the International Poverty Reduction Center in China (IPRCC), paid a visit to the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in China. Ms. Beate Trankmann, UNDP Resident Representative in China, Mr. James George, Deputy Resident Representative in China, Dr. Zhang Weidong, Assistant Resident Representative in China, and Ms. Wang Chen, Project Manager, attended the meeting and exchanged views. At the meeting, Liu Junwen reviewed the cooperation history between the IPRCC and UNDP, introduced the recent work progress of the IPRCC, and exchanged views on the cooperation and development of knowledge products. Ms. Beate Trankmann welcomed Liu Junwen and his delegation, introduced the resource network of UNDP around the world, and expressed that she would further strengthen partnership with the IPRCC to strengthen cooperation in knowledge product development, policy research and other fields.

Relevant personnel from the Research Division and the Foreign Affairs Division attended the meeting.
